About Spooky Kelly

Spooky Kelly is an avid recycler, DIY designer, and music fan. She is best known for her ability to reconstruct an old t-shirt into something new: a dress, skirt, tank, corset, and pretty much everything you can wear. Taking it a step further, she has begun designing accessories such as arm warmers and wrist cuffs to go along with each outfit. She also creates a variety of pop-culture themed iron-on patches that can help anyone with an iron embellish their favorite bag or t-shirt. This line of clothing and accessories is geared toward young adults with a spunky personality!.

Based out of the Pittsburgh area, Kelly works as a full-time 2nd grade teacher during the day and enjoys sewing into the late night hours. She is not a formally trained seamstress, but takes the time to carefully design each item and create new and exciting patterns. Kelly is always looking for the perfect fabric and spends a great deal of time in thrift stores and bargain bins looking for cool t-shirts to reconstruct.
